Fitch Sprint Corvair

John Fitch Co Inc., deriving from Falls, Connecticut, had a go at transforming the already iconic Chevrolet Corvair Corsa into a better car. They labeled this car the Fitch 'Sprint' Corvair, a sort of upmarket version of the original product.

They made changes to the suspension, power train and steering whilst also altering the cosmetics of the car to make it look better and more attractive. A GT suspension package was also added which enabled the car to become more aerodynamic and more resistant to shocks. This allowed the car to transform into a car which blended form and function perfectly.

It became the classic racing car and one which was driven by a lot of drivers who made the most of the car's considerable assets.
